About HTI

    Historic Takoma, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.  Donations to Historic Takoma are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.  In accordance with IRS regulations, all donors of $250 or more will receive a receipt from Historic Takoma acknowledging their donation.

    Historic Takoma is in constant need of additional funding to support our many programs and community activities.    In addition to general funds, Historic Takoma maintains an endowment fund and a legal defense fund.  Donations can be earmarked for either of these.  We gladly accept donations of any amount.  You can donate online or mail us a check.      HTI for many years has been a participating agency in the United Way and Combined Federal Campaigns.  Donors to either of these campaigns are asked to please designate Historic Takoma to receive your contribution.  The Historic Takoma United Way/CFC agency code number is 8361.  United Way/CFC contributions are a significant source of financial support for Historic Takoma.
