Takoma Park continued to grow and today represents a vibrant, active community.

From declaring Takoma Park a nuclear free zone, to bringing the Prince George County part of Takoma Park into Montgomery County, to letting non-U.S. resident citizens an opportunity to vote, Takoma Park continues to be a site of environmental and people concerns.
