Book Signing - Thurs June 3 - 6:30-8:30 pm
Washington At Home book coverTakoma Park is one of the neighborhoods featured in the updated and revised edition of Washington At Home: An Illustrated History of Neighborhoods in the Nation's Capital.

After two decades out of print, this unique illustrated history of 26 distinct Washington communities covers DC's unique politics and economy, as well as its geography, physical development, and stories of the varied people who call DC home.

The book party takes place at Charles Sumner School Museum and Archives, 1201 17th Street NW (Farragut North Metro) and features remarks by editor Kathryn S. Smith, Founding Executive Director of Cultural Tourism DC. Books will be available for purchase and signing by the authors of the 26 chapters. Proceeds from book sales support Cultural Tourism DC.
