Maryland Heritage Tax Credit Saved.
After intense work by Maryland preservation groups, led by Preservation Maryland,
we succeeded in averting
disaster. Historic Takoma went to Annapolis and included our voice in that effort.
The good news is that we still have a tax credit program. The bad news is that
the commercial program has been fundamentally altered and has a very uncertain
future.
