Takoma Park: Portrait of a Victorian Suburb
1883-1983

     In 1999 Historic Takoma reprinted the 1984 book "Takoma Park: Portrait of a Victorian Suburb."  This wonderful history of Takoma Park, with stories, photos and a wealth of information was the product of a collaboration of people from throughout the Takoma community, past and present. Ellen R. Marsh and Mary Anne O'Boyle took on the Herculean task of authoring this invaluable resource.

    Copies are available at the Takoma Book Exchange, at Westmoreland and Carroll, Takoma Park, MD (lower level) and at Takoma Underground down the stairs at Carroll and Laurel (beneath Moonshadow) at the main stoplight in downtown Takoma Park, MD.
