- HTI works actively in the Maryland and DC parts of Takoma to promote and protect the historical and cultural resources of Takoma Park through education and advocacy.

- The Archives is a searchable repository for a vast array of information about Takoma Park available to the public and to professional historians.
- Thomas-Siegler House & Garden
- The former carriage house and garden for the oldest home in Takoma Park MD is maintained by Historic Takoma for exhibits and recreation.
- Takoma Park Fire Station
- Historic Takoma was a significant stakeholder throughout the process of designing the new station.
- Oral History
- Historic Takoma is creating permanent records of the tales of Takoma that some life-long residents can tell.
- Education & Outreach
- Walking tours, children's books, slide shows, and more. The education programs bring past and present Takoma together.
- House & Garden Tour
- Every year another Takoma neighborhood opens its homes to the community. Victorian to modern homes and everything in between.
- Restore Historic Tree
- A plaque revealed the fact that a 1932 tree dedication was part of a nationwide project to observe George Washington’s 200th birthday.

- Our newsletter, published three times a year, contains a wealth of information about Historic Takoma activities and stories about what Takoma was like over the past century.
